Lee B. Wenner, 81 Enjoyed gardening and private piloting Lee B. Wenner, age 81, of Saugus died Sunday, June 1 after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy "Dottie" (DeYoung) Wenner and the late Mary Lou (Toner) Wenner. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Pearl E. (Grim) and the late Roy Bruce Wenner, Jr. Lee made his home in Saugus since 1980 and had previously lived in Melrose for many years. He was a Fuel Controls Engineer at General Electric in the Aerospace Engine Group for 37 years before retiring in 1997. Lee leaves his children, David L., and his wife Deborah of Basking Ridge, NJ, Robert Wenner of Melrose, MA and his companion Lisa Foster of Salem, MA, Mark Wenner and his fiancé Barbara Coarr of Framingham, MA, Judith Chory and her husband Michael Chory, Jr. of Bradford, MA. He was the father of the late Bruce Wenner. He was the step-father of John W. Brown and his wife, Jesca of Chelsea, MA, Cheryl A. Brown and her life companion Shawn D Lockhart, Sr. of Bolingbrook, IL, Timothy A. Brown and his devoted life companion Kelly Clark, of Saugus, MA, and Deidre M. Brown. He was the brother of Verna Reilly of Hellertown, PA. He leaves 20 devoted grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lee was a veteran of WWII as a Navy pilot and enjoyed private piloting with the North Shore Aero Club in Massachusetts for many years. Gardening and his love of nature and family was known by all that knew him. Lee volunteered teaching computer and math skills at Operation Boot Strap in Lynn, Massachusetts.
